Each listing shows real photos, a video walkthrough, a transparent price breakdown, the landlord’s verified profile, and reviews from previous tenants. Look for the Verified badge and Scout Visited indicator.

Send a message or request the landlord’s phone number directly through the platform. There is no agent standing between you and the property owner. No commission charged to you.

Inspect in person before paying
Always visit the property during daylight hours before committing any payment. Confirm the address, test utilities, and confirm the person showing you the property matches their verified profile.
RealHomly does not collect rent. Never pay money to anyone before you have physically inspected the property.

Once satisfied, arrange your tenancy agreement directly with the landlord. Get everything in writing. Request a receipt for every payment.

Complete identity verification
Upload a government-issued ID and a clear selfie. Confirm your phone number via OTP. Verification is mandatory before you can publish any listing.
Identity verification is typically completed within 24 hours of submission.

Create your property listing
Use our step-by-step wizard to add the property details, amenities, and house rules. Upload a minimum of 5 original photos and at least one video walkthrough. No stock images permitted.

Pay
Pay to publish via Paystack
A one-time listing fee activates your listing for 60 days. Pay securely through Paystack using debit card, bank transfer, or USSD.
Basic listing: ₦3,000 · Featured listing: ₦5,000. If your listing is rejected after payment, a full refund is issued.

Our team reviews your listing
Every listing is reviewed before going live. We check media quality, pricing accuracy, description honesty, identity match, and compliance with our no-hidden-fees policy.

Manage
Receive enquiries and manage your listing
Track views, saves, and enquiries from your Landlord Dashboard. When the property is let, mark it as Taken. Build your verified reputation with every positive tenancy.

Fill in the scout application form with your name, phone number, the area you want to cover, and why you are a good fit. Students, NYSC members, and freelancers with local knowledge are welcome.

Receive property verification tasks
Once approved, tasks appear in your Scout Dashboard with the property address, landlord details, deadline, and commission amount.

Visit and verify the property
Visit in person. Take at least 5 clear photos, record a walkthrough video, confirm the address, and note any discrepancies honestly.

Submit
Submit your verification report
Complete the inspection checklist and upload all photos and video. Reports are typically reviewed within 24 hours.

Earn
Get paid weekly
Approved reports earn the property a Scout Visited badge. Your commission is transferred to your registered bank account in the next weekly payment run.
An active scout doing 4 to 6 verifications per week can earn between ₦32,000 and ₦120,000 per month.
