Why do landlords pay but renters are always free?+
Our business model is built on the landlord side. Renters should never pay a platform fee just to find somewhere to live. Our commitment is permanent: renters pay nothing, ever.
What is the difference between a Basic and a Featured listing?+
Both go through the same verification process. A Featured listing costs ₦5,000 total, is pinned to the top of relevant results, and receives on average 3x more views.
What happens if my listing is rejected after I have paid?+
We issue a full refund and provide clear feedback. Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 working days via Paystack.
What happens when my 60-day listing expires?+
You receive a notification 7 days before expiry and can renew at the same fee. If rented, mark the property as Taken in your dashboard.
Are there any other fees I should know about?+
No. We do not take commission on rent or charge for enquiries, messages, or views. Scout verification is entirely optional.
Can unregistered agents list on RealHomly?+
No. Agents formally registered with LASRERA or NIESV can apply for the Pro Plan. Unregistered street agents cannot list.
